Más sobre el racismo en GameSpot

Continuando con la tragicomedia de mi Union en GameSpot.com, hoy recibí respuesta de su helpdesk (dos semanas despues) luego de que los estuve chingue y chingue...
Me mandan esto:

Sorry for the delayed response, we talked to our legal department regarding your inquiry. As stated in the Terms of Use agreement, ANY content will be removed at our discretion. Because we are an English speaking website, we cannot filter and censor any content that is NOT in English. Our users cannot filter this either. How would they know that you are saying something nice or if you are calling them names? For years now we have removed content that was not in English. If we find anyone that posts in any other language than English this content is removed, the user is moderated and it is normally flagged as disruptive posting. In your case you did not receive any severe penalties; such as a suspension or permanent ban. However, because you now have this in your moderation history, more severe penalties will occur if there is continued conduct. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Les creería si en realidad aplicaran eso, ya que hay otras uniones en otros idiomas y no veo que las borren al chilazo como la mia :(

En esta última fue peor el asunto ya que a ellos sí les avisaron antes.

Y luego no quieren que uno les diga que son racistas...

Racismo en GameSpot

Durante un buen rato tuve una Union en GameSpot. Es una pequeña comunidad tipo Guild donde invitas a gente a hablar de un tema específico. Sin embargo ayer que entro a ver mis noticias de videojuegos me encuentro con que ya no existe dicha Union, llamada Chilanga Banda.

El chiste es que reviso mis mensajes y me encuentro moderaciones a mi cuenta del tipo:

En el detail de dichas entradas de mi 'moderation history' me marca algo así:

Lo más curioso del caso es que me moderaron y me borraron la Union bajo el pretexto de que estaba en un idioma foráneo y que eso violaba los Terms of Service. Sin embargo, luego de leer los ToS encontré que en ningun lado menciona dicha restricción del idioma.

Revisando en las demás uniones de GameSpot me encontré con que hay más en español, portugués, holandes, etc...

La verdad estoy que me carga porque siento que es una acción racista de su parte. Abrí un post en el foro de moderadores y su respuesta fue bastante ambigua y soberbia:

Primer berrinche

Lleva apenas 72 horas de vida y ya hizo su primer berrinche.

Le dieron su primer baño en casa entre la mamá y la abuela, pero al parecer que no le gustó mucho porque al final del baño, ya no quería comer, por más que le rogaba su madre. Me hablaron para que viera que no quería. Le empecé a hablar y parece que con eso se digno a comer :D

Espero que haya sido una concidencia. Si empieza con esos berrinches desde ahorita, no quiero ver como se pondrán después :/

Ya nació

Después de un rato de dejar olvidado este blog, lo aprovecharé de nuevo para agregar las noticias de Luis Adrián.

Nació el 25 de octubre de 2006, a las 10:35 pm en el Hospital Dalinde de la Colonia Roma. Entré a grabar el nacimiento que fue por cesárea, lo cual es bastante curioso ya que soy bastante cobarde para ver la sangre, sin embargo, en este caso no senti ni mareo ni nausea alguna. Tal vez sea porque vi todo a través del visor de la cámara, hehe...

Tanto la mamá como el bebé están sanos y salvos, de buen color y solamente con las molestías de rigor, pero con nada fuera de lo normal.
